ABS Kids Is Celebrating Its 10 Year Anniversary!

Today ABS Kids celebrates its 10 year anniversary! July 6th marks the day that ABS Kids saw their very first patient for ABA services. Read on for a message from founder and president, Jeff Skibitsky about the significance of this milestone anniversary.

“10 years ago the landscape of autism services looked incredibly different. In 2011, lack of insurance coverage, awareness, and a shortage of clinicians meant that many families went without services. Fast forward to today, ABA is now the gold standard in the treatment of autism. We are where we are today because of the thousands upon thousands of passionate clinicians, professionals, parent advocates, and administrative team members who have pushed for progress. Today we hope that you all celebrate with us. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the hard work of the entire community!

From the start, the ABS Kids vision has been to make ABA therapy accessible. In pursuit of that vision, we have advocated for insurance reform and spread community awareness. We have expanded into underserved areas and opened new ABA therapy centers. We have embraced technological advances and have set the standard for what it means to provide quality care. All children with autism should have equal opportunity and access to ABA therapy and we are honored to continue working towards this vision.

ABS Kids is proud to have been a part of the treatment team for thousands of children with autism over the past 10 years. I know from first-hand experience that quality ABA therapy truly helps children reach milestones and realize their full potential.
